Fizzgig

I knew I should have just kept Fizzgig on her own but everyone told me she needed company they shouldnt be on there own. I did all the reading on introductions and the just to let them get on with it, unless there is blood drawn.

Well today they started having little tiffs i just left them to it like all the websites and the threads on this forum had said, then just now spork was coming out to get the greens and thats when I seen the blood on her face, Fizzgig has bitten her on the face and left a nasty wound

I have now seperated them.mallethead

I am sorry - there are a few piggies who prefer to be on their own, but the vast majority is a lot happier with company. Sadly, Fizzgig seems to be one of the few!

A failure in bonding is always very gutting.

Do you want to keep Spork or would you rather hand her over to a specialist rescue so she can find another guaranteed good home?

We would never get rid of either of them, we are rather attached. We have spilt them up and we are going to order another big indoor cage and put the cages next to each other so they can still see each other and have a chat.

This is poor little sporks face

AWWW - poor girl; she looks rather shell shocked!

She does bless her I have cleaned the wound and seperated them she has lots of hay and fresh greens and guinea pig foods to cheer her up.

I'm sorry it hasn't worked out. Hope both girls are feeling more like themselves soon. Hopefully they will have very happy chats over the fence. :) Must be quite a shock for you too. x

It really was when I seen poor little sporks face, Fizzgig just really doesnt seem to like other animals. We have a house bunny and she jumped at the front of his cage trying to attack him as well. She is a very anti social little madam.

Sounds very much like it!

Oh poor little Spork! Hope they both settle back down well and enjoy each others company, even if only from a distance.
