I have made a decision about what I am getting - what else do I need?

After much thought I have decided I am going to buy the largest cage I can (the 4ft ferplast one) and I am going to get the little lone piggy I found today IF she is still available tomorrow or Monday (!) and I going to hopefully find her a friend very soon afterwards.

What I would like to know is what toys / accessories do you find that your piggys really love? I am not sure what to buy and any help would be appreciated!
What sort of cage accessories or equipment do you like best?

Any hints and tips helpful! ;)

Stuff for them to eat or hide in always goes down well, like tubes and stuff O0 but they like stuff to chew and push around aswell like willow balls from pets at home or playstix which u can bend to make bridges and they can still chew them, pampered piggies do loadsa good stuff, not sure of the web address so google it :) good luck getting your new piggie hope she's still available! :) x
 
John Andeson loves willow balls..has eaten half of one already. He has willow sticks but not fussed on them.

Bob hasn't shown an interest in either of the willow ball or sticks.

Both LOVE to eat hay from a toilet roll tube..infact John Anderson seems to only eat his hay from there

Bob has a log bridge wihch he looks so cute sitting under

I'm also going to get a kabob thingie for each of them once I set foot in a petshop again (staying out for now LOL)

There is a site..pampered piggies I think which sells lots of natural toys.
 
chubes and tunnels are a firm faveourite with all piggies. They love somewhere to hide. I have a small cardboard box with a doorway cut out either end and this is one of their favourites. They sleep in it and toss it around as well :) and it is free!
 
www.pamperedpiggies.co.uk we do have lots of things for guinea pigs both new and old.

I know I shouldnt saying it as you all spend silly amounts aready on your piggies but... I ive added loads more toys this week and some more treats going on today.
We will also soon be stocking food and bedding so if anyone has anything ideas of things they really want but find hard to get please do say and Ill do my best to get it
Pampered piggies is for are piggies so I need to stock what everyone wants.. so fire away!

I think what has already been said like hide aways and tubes. I also love pampered piggies stuff and the brown bags are a cheap toy that can be filled with treats mine love that! You could also get a fleece blanket for piggy to sit on on your lap maybe even a little pouch from CheekyChinnies she makes lovely ones that arent too expensive :) :)

Dont forget to have a look at the housing thread and see what everyone thinks of things to line the cages, I use megazorb some people use towels or wood shavings. Also if she is going to be on her own for a little while then maybe a little cuddly toy to keep her company :)

I will definitely get some of the things mentioned and I have been looking at the pampered piggys site and I think I will order some bits soon.
