Hey, I don't know if you remember my babies that came on my birthday march 25th, Solecito and Pi. They're fine, but I'm actually having some struggles with their cage but I'm searching for a new job so I can help them out.

Anyways, what I want to ask you is: what kind of poop is normal for a 7th month guinea pig? I just saw today their poop (I don't know if it's from Solecito or Pi) and I think is kind of tiny...

Sorry for the hair and such.

What do you think?

I've been giving them their veggies, fruit and pellets... for now I can't give them their grass, but I will soon.

Thank you for reading.

Hi Dorothy, Looks fine to me, have they alwasy been like this? Or is it a sudden change ?
If you are worried, perhaps cut down on the fruit and veg and give a bit more hay . But apart from
That , personaly l would not worry :tu:

I can't remember very well.

I'm almost sure their poos are more bigger, just a little bit.

Maybe yes they need more hay.

It could be their bedding? I used this time the "carefresh".

care fresh bedding should be ok, though they may be eating it.
Perhaps change to vetbed,

I havent heard of anyone having problems with them eating it, but if l were you l would
Change just to be on the safe side
(approx 8pound per cage )shop around ! Ebay is usualy the cheepest

Vet bed is higeenic, very soft for the pigs to lay on and once you have bought it , you dont have any more bedding bills :tu:l

Just saw something!

One of their poops are that care fresh thing!

The size look fine to me, but if they are eating a lot of the care fresh, although it won't do them any harm, as far as I'm aware, you could look to change to something different. Vetbed is one option, but the initial cost is pretty expensive. I'm not sure what you have available in the US, but anotheroption would be to bed them on hay or even barley straw (wheat straw is a bit too spiky and you run the risk of eye pokes).
