I just cut her hair off

And am I ever so proud over myself for daring to do it?
I was terrified she would get hurt but I had to hold her quite firmly to make sure she wouldn't be able to get hurt if moving. But it went far better cutting her fur off than grooming her so she will have to be shorthaired now:(
Not the prettiest sight but the main importatance is it is taken cared of and couldn't groom her so cutting it off was the only way, but glad that worked out!
 
Well done, and she'll be more comfortable like that - and happier that you don't have to groom her.
 
You did well to get that done. I know how much you were dreading it. It does not matter what she looks like as long as she is happy.

Thanks, it feels much better now as I was stressing about our relation- how it would be if continuing the grooming she so much hates.
Now she can be a happy pig again and enjoy our cuddles:)

Yeah and I also wanted you not to having to go through that hassle for my sake, maybe that's why I hurried up and tried to cut it off, cant believe it went much easier to cut it than to groom it. She actually relaxed a bit after a while when she noticed it wasn't grooming! Thank you so much for your advice and support!
 
i have a long haired peegy too and occasionally i play hair dresser to her every now and then when its needed :P i always give her a summer hair cut to get some of the fur weight off her and make her a bit cooler :) once i managed to trim enough off her to make a mini peeg out of her snippings :) she hates it too but i think its best for them and i am sure they feel good afterwards :)
