I just wanted to apologise to everyone who has sadly lost their pets recently, I very rarely visit the RB section as i just find it so hard and i end up in a mess every time, I cant imagine my life without any of the babies i have right now and visiting there always makes me realise that one day i will have to.

So i am sorry, its not that i don't care when i don't respond or offer any warm comforting words to you RB threads its the complete opposite, its because i find it so hard and upsetting.

I have just posted in a few threads, i will try to do some more later.

Big hugs to you all x

Aww I know how you feel it is so difficult to see the RB pets and know that you will have to go through the same thing :( I think they are really brave especially those who have had to make the hard decision to say goodbye. You do not need to apologise! Its not your fault it is really upsetting but I am sure those with RB threads would love to hear from you as such a valued member of this forum! xxxxxx

i feel very much the same. when i do have a little look it is just too sad. i have lost some old piggies this year and it is too sad to post about them too. but i will be having them remembered on RNGPwelfares tree of light and the lights will shine not just for them but for all the forum piggies who have crossed the bridge this year.

I'm exactly the same...have lost count of how many times I've bawled my eyes out on the RB threads. Think it's because we feel the loss being a close group - I admit some of the piggies who've left us have felt as though they were my own especially when they've been ill and you're praying they pull through.
Many nights I say a little prayer for the poorly ones to make it and am sincerely broken when they don't :Ayociexp118:

Me too. You have echoed my sentiments exactly. I am having a rough time and just can't cope with the RB section, but I too care.

I feel exactly the same, we're quite a forum. We go through everything together from the highs to the lows. We even manage to pull together people from opposite ends of the country to form a piggie train, or organise last minute foster families, its not just the big “stuff” that this forum can do, as a forum we also offer advice, and comforting words and organise gifts to be sent to those who have lost their pets. It’s really quite amazing. When Percy-Roo was ill and in turn made his way to the bridge, i received so many lovely messages from forum members both on here and on facebook. It was lovely to know that i had people to talk to during the difficult time.

Most of the piggies on here and their slaves feel like extended family, and i too pray for their furry loved ones to be safe and pull through, but if they don’t pray for them to go to the bridge free from pain and in the arms of their much loved slaves.

I think it's lovely how we can offer each other support, and have someone to understand the hurt we feel when we lose our special little guys. I don't know what I would have done without all of you this past few days. x

Bless you x

I couldn't even bring myself to write about my little Rufus in there. Seemed final to do that ;(
