... I do have a very special piggie! x)

This evening marked Misty's first bath ever! A big event if you are 5 1/2!

With great trepidation OH and I took her to the kitchen sink, sacrified a fleece plonk for her to sit on, and got the water ready ...
...she loved it! ?/:(|) She lifted her head up ready for the warm water, chirruped happily whilst having shampoo (with OH asking her if she was going on holiday!) and drank the clean water! :)):))

She is just back in her cage after having sat with daddy whilst mummy put new fleece into her cage. She cuddled in and produced over 25 poops, possibly thanks to the towel rubbing! She nibbled her veggies and is now stretched out in a lovely tunnel made by pawsup! x)x)

The only thing I am gutted about is that I can't find my mobile or camera, so no pigtures! :(

Anyone else's piggies like the water?! x

aww thats so cute!
One of my piggies, Squeaky, used to hate baths. But now he's older, he seems to enjoy them :))
He'll just sit there whilst we wash him, towel dry him and make a general fuss of him x)
I think its because he knows theres lots of veggies to come afterwards in compensation for his "ordeal" :))
xx

Luckily, I only have to dunk 2 out of our 15 piggies as they are the ones with mad hair :x The others get away with quick trims and butt baths as I call them :))
Benny loves the water and is as good as gold, Frankie however is not too keen so I end up as wet as he does but they both like their good old towel rubs after and their paws massaged with Gorgeous Guineas paw ointment :(|)
All worth the effort ;)

Good girl beautiful Misty!

Finley sends you xoxo and Mabel and Dottie send wheeks! What a shame you don't have any pigtures! :p

Misty is quite overcome by her Finley kisses, I think she has gone to have a lie down in her nice clean fleece! :red:))

She and I can have lots of photoshoots now that she actually looks like a PEW again! rolleyes :))

Kisses to F, D and M x>>x>>

I've only ever used dry foam shampoo but it doesn't really do much for smell :/
I'm a bit to scared about putting my piggies in the water :S
any tips or threads that could help me out ?!

What I find helps a lot with my piggies is if I put a towel at the bottom of the sink. It means they get grip and it absorbs the water and lets it pass through to the plug hole. Then the piggie isnt standing in dirty water, and as I said before it helps to stop them scrambling because they have a grip :)
Its a bit confusing to understand, I never have been good at explaining things! :) xx
