We're not having ago at you, we've told you this, we're advising you on what you should do because you're breaking the law! It's not fair on you guinea pigs! It's cruel, it should be as bev said at least 2 per 4ft hutch! that means you need 2 -3 more hutches!
 
Hannah Jeanette pointed out a good thing you are indeed breaking the law I know you didn't realise this THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE AN ARGUMENT,and by saying that you make it sound if this is personal I can assure you anyone who admitted this would still be advised the same thing, we know you love your pigs of course you do we all do, and as for being seperated from mum and brothers etc that happens to most pigs thats perfectly normal and even marley has her daughters in with her and they dont ever have a mum and daughter time you would not know they were related, so thats not an issue , have they got a run ? for more space

yes there do have a run there is one for the girls the ones you can get from pets at home and one for alfie and than i have a smaller one for max as max cant be a good boy around other guinea pigs

and thave have lot of hidy holes to put in them which i put diffent stuff in each time there go i nthe gardan
 
No ones havin a go at you x just informing you and giving you some useful information about the law that you should accept and use x I do think they need more space, imagine being stuck in a small space with your brother or sister 24/7 even with hidey holes

and do you expext my to get a cage from o na sturday night? or sunday? anyways there dont grown on tree's

Hannah you are risking your guinea pigs health both mentally and physically. If you can't accommodate your guineas properly then you should consider rehoming them. :)

Well i think everyone just wants to know whether you are going to get a new cage/hutch Hannah, we arent saying we want you to get one today or tommorow, people on here, including myself are concerned about the welfare of piggies and unfortunutly yours arent in suitable accomadation

Well all I can say is she's extremely silly to not take our professional advise, does she not realize we have piggies?
 
1) My guinea pigs are very happy

2) there all haethy

3) there all have veggie 2 itmes a day which cost my £26 a week

4) cages do not grow on trees

5) money dose not gorwn on trees to buy the cages

6) do you wont them all to be unhappy and split from all up from each other?

We're not saying get one now, just one soon, for your pigs, as soon as possible is best.
Or even (I know it's hard to part with such loved piggies) but rehome 2 - 4 pigs?
 
People it is clear Hannah does not want our advice, there is no point wasting our time. :)

i mean the size of their accomadation, i think i may give up with you and i hope you think about what we have said, for your piggies sakes

Just think about it and try to save money to get a huge hutch or cage....it doesnt need to be expensive, lots of people make their own huge ones, like niki

Please, your piggies may be happy and love you but the need room to grow....

I didn't say you have to re home any, i'm just adivsing, i'm not being mean or spiteful but I'm 16, I know damn well you can only JUST keep 2guineas in a 4ft cage! I have 8 piggies too, well I do for the mean time, we're rehoming mother and babies, then I will be down to four piggies, 2piggies are cept in a 4foot double story hutch (yes 2) and 1 is in a 4ft one (keeping an eye on her teeth) and treacle is in a cage about a metre long and about half a metre wide

I have the same amout as pigs as you, so i'm not stupid, me and my mum know how to look after piggies, people have really given you some good advise, you are being utterly silly! I'm sorry but you are! READ ANYWHERE ASK ANYBODY that owns piggies 4foot = 2piggies! They're not in good accommodation , they're hot, stuffy, tightly packed, no space, no freedom to walk all over, its cruelty! You're risking their lives, mentally stability and physical.

How old are you Hannah? You sound younger than me?
 
Hannah give your piggys veg once day and save the money for a new cage or two please do not EVER tell anyone on here to shut up , that is very nasty and unpleasent and definalty not needed, everyone is offering you advice if you choose not to take it then its YOUR pigs that ARE suffering,
we did not expect you to get a cage today or tomorrow so please dont insult our intelligence either, how old are you Hannah? becasue your attitude is not very mature, the whole point of this fourm is to give advice and learn from it , not insult us back for doing that, fine dont take our advice but dont expect us pig lovers to like it or for some of us to accept it , you are breaking the law so even the law agrees with us , I was very friendly and polite to you Hannah, and wont ever let my own kids tell me to shut up so dont think I am happy about that infact I am disgusted I will not be offering you advice again, :tickedoff:

holly and meggie and lilly and alfie cages are under the carport but maxs is outside

and if i do this there will be lilly and 2 babies in one cage and amber poppy and ruby in the other

and how will there cope with out there mummy or holly and meggie? as the last few weeks when there have been in the gardan there have been with holly and meggie there have never been on there own before there allways with either lily or holloy and meggie?

Housing.
Guinea pig cages need to be large enough to provide them with enough room to exercise and "play," ideally, a minimum of 7.5 square feet (30 inches by 36 inches) for one pig to 13 square feet (30 inches by 76 inches) for four pigs. Less than this, and it could lead to overcrowding and stress-related issues or obesity from lack of activity. Cages must also be escape-proof and not made of wood, since guinea pigs love to chew wood and could easily make an escape route for themselves. Plastic, wire, stainless steel or combinations of these materials are best. Wood is difficult to clean sufficiently. Glass cages do not provide adequate ventilation.

7.5foot hutch could fit about 3 guinea pigs in. maybe 4
4foot is not suitable for 8!

i agree,I think its very rude and childish to tell people who offer advice to shut up,in future when she wants our help or advice then we should think about it..now I'm sitting here worried about those pigs :(

I know, she's being pretty damn ignorant telling us to shut up when we're only concerned and extremely worried about her pigs! I mean if she was giving the advise and we told her to shut up, I think she would be pretty damn insulted!
 
Hannah why is it every damn time you post and people give advice or comment you throw your toys,for gods sake theres a law now that we HAVE to follow,do you wanna break it,and stop being so childish in how youre talking to people on here
