My gorgeous boy... mummy is struggling so much without you

but I know you’re pop corning around up there with all of the other piggies. Having an amazing time until you’re reunited with mummy again

it’s just really really hard love you more than anything Odin and I miss you every second of every day.

Grief is tough and the loss of a loved one - human or pet doesn’t go away quickly.
Grief heals slowly and every person reacts differently.
Posting the pictures of Odin and talking here is a healthy way of grieving so keep on doing this as long as you need to.

We only grieve when we have loved.
Odin will always have his own special place in your heart, eventually the rawness will ease and that space won’t be as painful.
There is no ‘instant remedy’ for grief but you are supported here by people who understand.

@rhymer - this is for you too as you grieve for your cat.

Huge hugs for you. You certainly had a very special bond with Odin.

I just want to remind anyone that is struggling that we do have a guide on bereavement with a helpline phone number for anyone who needs some additional support to talk it over. Bereavement is difficult for everyone and there is no shame in the struggle, it shows just how much love you gave. I hope the forum can help be a comfort and support as well but I am aware that we have our limits too
