I made a sleeping bag and tunnel for the guinea-pigs

It was meant to be for Roy but I hadn't got the sizing quite right and he couldn't fit in it :)) So, as Amber is the smallest, I tried her in it and she fit so she can have it and I'll make a bigger one for Roy. Then, I started making another one for Roy, when I got about half way through and though about making it a tunnel, so I chopped the end of and folded the ends over and although it's a bit messy (I'm going to trim the ends of the sleeping bag later to make it a bit tidier) Amber fits in both of them easily. After school tommorow I'm going to try and buy some more fleeces and some pipe cleaners to help keep the opening bits open.

Well done! :) They look great! Wish I could make something like that! ;) Love the pics, Amber looks so snuggly and warm and Barry's picture made me laugh! :)) So cute! x)
 
I've just made something else, and I think I'm getting a bit better at sewing because this one looks a bit neater than the other 2. I don't actually know what I've made, I just had left over fleece so I cut the leftover fleece up and put it inside some pieces of triangular fleece and sewed it up. I think I might put it inside the sleeping bag to make it a bit more padded and comfy, but knowing Roy he'll probably pee on it :))

I love making these and I want to make more but I've got to remember I only have 6 guinea-pigs so I cannot make 10 sleeping bags. It's so tempting though :)) I just love making these things, even if my sewing isn't very good :))

I can't wait to get more fleece tommorow :)
 
Oh that picture of Barry is sooooooo funny!

It's a great feeling when you've made something yourself, isn't it? Good for you :)

Aw they seem like they love them! Amber and Barry are both gorgeous too, love Barry's colouring. :)
