Last night when I was filling up Donald and Speedy’s hay feeder before bed I noticed them coming out to see what I was doing. First time that’s happened so yay! But I also noticed Speedy got a sudden case of the zoomies and started running from one end of the cage to the other. Is this him getting excited about food or am I missing something?

Zoomies are a piggy saying they are happy and excited about life in general. It was probably brought on by the fact you were filling up the hay feeder. Sometimes zoomies are accompanied by popcorns which is really funny to see.

Zoomies are the sign of a happy piggy Younger piggies especially indulge in these when excited. Our 5 year old even managed a few the other day
