heres the pic, this is 2 of the pens together.. so £20

I would never put a pig on a lead. The forst thing they would do would be to run to a dark place, and could so easily hurt their necks or backs. I don't think leads for g.pigs or rabbits should be sold at all, they are so dangerous.
Also Abnoba is right, think of all the germs a piggy could pick up in a park.
bad idea.

As for the Slipper beds Honkey would chew them as the moment anything soft is fair play to him,

Wheek, great idea for a run.

I got my hands on what has turned out to be a rat cage (it is 40"x20"x20") made by Terenziani (it takes up nearly all my dinner table) I have took the bottom grid out of it, for honkey to run around in and he hates it.

If your piggy ran away you would be devastated

Ive often thought about getting one of those bags for little dogs and taking Merlin out that way but Id probably look like a right idiot.

The indoor run that Wheek has got is fabulous, just the thing for indoor piggies. Put some tunnels hidey houses in there and the pigs will have a great time :)

It's not natural for a guinea pig or a rabbit to be on a lead and very unfair I think. The kindest thing to go is to create an environment as close to what there natural habitat would be as possible.

Rabswood

Honkey now has a 40"x20"x20" spare cage to play in with tunnels etc.. but it will do until I can buy something better.

I'd just like to add something about the swing.... Piggies can & do jump, mine jump onto their ramps & on top of their log rolls but these are static. They aren't as agile as say hamsters, rats, gerbils, mice & i would imagine them trying to jump onto a moving object would cause injury. The pic of the piggy on that swing i'm positive has been superimposed :)

Totally off topic, but I love his name! How did you chose it?

His name, well I am not into all this politically correct stuff and like me he is white, so I thought back to the 70s and if you remember back then people who were not white, refereed to White people as honkeys.

OK that is no to the swing, best to check with you lot as I know you have more experience with piggies than I do, when we kept piggies back in the good old days, OK the 70s things were different, if dad could not knock it up in the shed, then they did not have it ::)
