I might be getting Guinea pigs after christmas

Me and my dad where just out getting shopping and he turned to me and said , I was thinking of the possibly of letting you get your guinea pigs after Christmas.
Well I was in shock to say the least and just stared at him for a few seconds then said, yea that would be great.

I am still trying to get my head round it to be honest , as I have gotten used to the idea that I wouldn't be getting them until the house was finished but don't me wrong the thought of getting them in around 3/4 months is very exciting! :<>

Sorry if this post doesn't make much sense but wanted to share my news with everyone

Congrats! Before you know it they will have you wrapped around their paws and you will love being a piggy mummy!
 
Great news, I bet the time will drag till the new year. The most important thing is to get the biggest cage you can accommodate eg 1.2m or 1.5m or maybe go for a c&c set-up. If you buy a smaller one you'll soon find it is too small for 2 piggies.
 
lucky piggies Do you know wether you are going for boys or girls So many piggies in rescue pleased you are rescueing
 
That's great news! :) I went Piggie shopping once ... Went in for two came out with two... Went shopping again... Went in for two came out with three!

Well done you, you are doing all the right things and have a supportive Dad... They are going to be some pampered piggies in your house I think! :)

Thank you, I think that if you are going to have an animal you should give it the best care possible :) and yes they are going to very pampered ;)

Aw how sweet. I miss having pet rats... for a good few years i kept pet rats.... in total have had 19 rats.. they are such characters aren't they? As soon as i get my own place- i will get a few rats as well as my piggies :D

Cant wait to see pics when you get them :D

They really are , I have only had my two around 2 months and I couldn't imagine not having pet rats now!

oh don't worry I will be posting loads of pictures ;)

Harry Houdini had nothing on them! during the night, you'd hear the patter of tiny feet and scurrying and think to yourself - "they've escaped again!" sure enough, next morning, you'd find the cage empty and them asleep, curled up on top of the curtains! :))

haha that sounds like my friends hamster (who is no longer in this world :(..) , she once escaped from her cage and managed to get up the stairs some how...! Luckily the found her asleep on the bed room floor...to this day they dont know how she did it! Safe to say they bought her a new cage that day.. lol. Such personalities!
 
Bit of an update ,

Dad and me are going to be working on moving my room round over the next few weeks to get it ready to order the cage and he says he will put money towards the cage!
