I might lose a Guinea Baby

On April 18th our Guinea Mama had 4 beautiful babies. The following day I weighed them. Now this morning I weight them again. The brute of the litter weighed in at 4.5 oz last week and is now down to 3.2 oz. The others have all put on close to an ounce. We have no guinea specialists in the area around us. What can we do? I don't want to lose this one, but the weight loss seems dramatic. I have noticed that the last day or two he hasn't been as active and seems more delicate than he first did. Please help us figure out what we can do. He is eating very little. Only a couple of nibbles of lettuce and thats it. He is failing to thrive.
 
You will need to hand feed him round the clock to give him a chance. You can also try one-on-one time with mummy to see whether he he is nursing then. Please always weigh any babies daily until boar separation age at 3 weeks/250g of weight in order to avoid any major weight loss.

He really needs to see a vet pronto.......... could you take him to your local vet and they can confer with a cavy savvy one? i know many who'll do this :)
