Biscuit is still hanging in there. My wish for her is that before she passes she gets to feel grass under her feet again. Da smooch comes and goes but is a constant reminder of how fragile she is. We feed her her favourite treats, cuddle her, wash her butt and make her comfortable, but you can see her getting tired, there is less 'sas' there.

But.......

I had said to a local rescue no more before she dies....they had asked a few months ago and I said no....the called today......4 week old girl all by herself................

Well you know where this is going................

Biscuit has a wonderful Mum looking after her, you will know when it is 'time' I always have done it is odd, but you will know when the time is right for here, she will guide you on this. Hoping she can get on the grass once more, bless her.

Take your time in the future, no need to rush into things. You have to think of your own state o mind and health too, you are going through som uch caring for her and Binky

:hug:bless her, I hope she feels the grass again too.
And I know where that one is going to...........
There's a new lone boar here looking for a friend, because 'he's special needs and you've got the time to watch him'!

Awe  what a fab mum you are! :luv:
Massive hugs to you, here’s to hoping she get the feeling of that lush grass under her paws xx

@sport_billy is right you will know when it is time to help Biscuit to the Rainbow Bridge. They 'tell' you. It's in their eyes. The light sort of fades a bit and you know it is time. Your darling Biscuit obviously hasn't told you yet. You are a wonderful piggy slave @Katiedid and she has only known love from you.

I was just wondering the other day how Biscuit was doing.
She’s a fighter that lovely girl of yours.
Hope you are coping ok for yourself

I know I will know its time. Bless him Dozy (my avatar) was as lumpy as a bag of marbles and had rallied a few times over the previous weeks when he went downhill. After 24 hours and no sign of improvement I decided it was time. I took him to the vets and they weighed him - sod only made a break for it! Sometimes you have to laugh, it was the right decision but he was going to be sassy to the end.

I am actually OK. I have managed to find ways to cope with the poop (and at the moment its not as bad as it has been) so its just spending time with her. Jet is bumbling along OK too. I can't wait for them all to be able to go outside for some sun.
