I know it's bad manners to blow your own trumpet (wave your own flag?)... Whatever the saying I deserve at least a small monument erected in my honor on the city square for my ramp solution...

I'm building a new cage and just hadn't decided at all on how to do the ramp so I just fiddled around until I had a good idea. The ramp is made from THE LID that came with the crate I use as a hayloft. Isn't it awsome? It's light but really sturdy and because it's plastic will wash well! It will be covered with vetbed I think once the cage is done...

Now I can't wait for tomorrow when the glue that I've fixed the perspex to the wooden frames with has dried so that I can finish it!

I'll be your no 1 fan, that is an awesome idear! Very good for the Enviroment too, nothing shall be wasted :)!

I am very impressed. Love it.

Where do I sign the petition for the monument in honour of your engineering achievement? :(|)

Awsome recycling. You deserve a monument for that one....or at least a badge...Give Unused Items New Extra Applications....GUINEA!

Lordy lordy lordy....that looks might fine. Who said there were 7 wonders of the world...I reckon we've just seen the 8th! Brillant

Wow this is brilliant! You definitely deserve some sort of honorary status! I cant wait to see some pics of the piggies when they move in :)

Thanks :)

I'm so excited and can't wait for work to finish so I can go home and get it all together. Hopefully there will be a housewarming party tonight :)

What a wicked luxury pad for your three, great idea reinventing the lid as a ramp! There will be a celebratory party tonight I am sure.:)

Have you has to cut or bend the lid to make the ramp? if so can we have a close up please?

Your ramp is excellent! I prefer your new cage to C&C's. My main issue with my C&C cage was it was just too messy and as it is in the lounge I didn't want it to be so messy :( But yours is lovely and tidy!

AND! I love the pic above the cage, is that your little westie? x)

Cut (I sawed, with a fine toothed japanese saw). It cracks if you try to bend it! Close ups on the way :) (photobucket slow as always...)

Yup! And me and my sis :)
