So. You'll never guess what Cam did with today's cucumber rations. Again.

If I could get him to stop eating at the bars, it would fix this. He doesn't do it when the food's in the centre of the cage. The problem is this is the only way I can keep a semi-civilised mealtime, give them a piece each at the bars and then toss the rest for them to find later. Bann copes just fine. Sure they occasionally beat each other up with some broccoli or pepper strips but mostly, civilised. Cam just...drops his food. Two seconds was all it took today, he got his, I called Bann's name, and suddenly Cam's begging for food again. Whyyyy.

Oh Cam. Well clearly the next bit of cucumber - Bann’s - is going to be significantly superior to the piece he’s just been given

I wish, today he ignored what Bann had tossed at him and was immediately begging from the Human, lol. And he gets so confused when he can't find it. He hunts all around where he knows he last had it, even if that's where he slid it onto the bars to balance it and it predictably backfired on him. I love him, I really do, but you'd think at some point something would click in that little head of his.
