I have a guinea pig and he is a baby. Which medicine i should use? What you think? please help me

Guinea pigs generally don’t need routine worming, however, If you think your piggy is ill then you need to take him to a vet to be checked and treated.
You should never just give medicine yourself - a vet always needs to diagnose and treat any problems.

Please ensure your guinea pig lives with another guinea pig. They are highly social and should not be kept by themselves.

Thank you but i went to vet and he doesn't know about guinea pig worms and he asked other vets but no one don't have anythink. Guinea pig is a new pet for Turkish people. By the way we search a solution with my vet.

Has the vet been able to confirm the piggy has worms (even if he didn’t know how to deal with it), if not then you can’t treat for worms until you have a diagnosis. I know it’s hard when there aren’t vets knowledgable about guinea pigs near you though.
What symptoms does your piggy have?
Onlu a vet can diagnose a problem - we can’t do it - so can’t tell you what any treatment should be

Hi!

What makes you think your little baby has worms and not another health problem? what are the symptoms he is suffering from?
Guinea pigs don't have species specific worms and do not usually suffer from them, especially when they are kept as indoors pets.

Hi!

You are talking about skin parasites (red skin and itching) and not worms living in the gut then?

Please read our information on skin parasites; it contains treatment advice. You should be able to get a vet grade ivermectin or selamectin product via the vet. Either of these active ingredients will work against any skin parasite.
Please also be aware that you and your vet will have to make sure that you are dealing with parasites and not a fungal skin infection. Treatment for a fungal skin infection is different.
