what is your guinea piog called?

You maybe best off posting some more information here- so more people can see what the problem is and then maybe help you! :)

I agree with Claire. Hun, this is a very friendly forum and we are all here to help you BUT please do NOT post your e-mail address on a public site for all to see. You can easily ask questions on this thread about Patch and we will all try and help you :)

patch

patch is very healthy my mum breeds rabbits when she was little all i wanted was a little info on how to care better for patch.

how do you edit it then

a mod will have to do it. if i were you, do not open any emails that you dont know the person who it is from, also mark it as spam. DO NOT OPEN ANY OF THEM. There are really nasty people in the world who could hurt you. please don't think i'm overacting because i'm not. keep yourself safe. please ask your parents before you post anything on the net in future. x

Have a look around the forum at the top are all the care stickies, they have so much information on caring for your guinea pig.

Email removed, I'm going back to remove the age shortly - young people PLEASE do not post your age and personal information online, this is basic internet safety. Thank you to concerned members for reporting as well - it's also easier if people don't quote the original post because then we have to go back and edit the quotes as well :(|)

thanks everybody i didnt no the harm it could do :{

Hopefully it's all sorted now and you can get on and use the forum. There's lots of useful information on here and photos with ideas on housing and toys. I read on here that guinea pigs like to play with bits of material, like an old tea towel. Now I put one in their run and drape it between the big cardboard tubes. They love it and play under it or pull it down. They get really excited when I go over to put it back up for them. It doesn't need to cost very much to make your guinea pigs even happier.

Is it a hoax?
The posters interests and occupation seem at odds with the stated age...

Did you manage to add a pic of Patch? It might also be advisable to get your mum to look around the forum with and get some advice as Guineas are very different from Rabbits x

hiya

i have a rabbit and a guinea pig in the same huch they get on very well together
8)

they lived together since they were baby's the hutch:) is out side with a big run they have different food bowels they get on realy well

Apart from the reasons Claire has given you - that guinea pigs can't make their own vitamin C, unlike like rabbits, and need different food. One unintentional kick from a small rabbit can (and sadly does!) seriously injure or even kill a piggy.

There is also another point: guinea pigs need to live with a friend of their own kind. They are very social animals, but living with a rabbit is like living with somebody who doesn't talk your own language!

But it is great that you want to learn more about guinea pigs!

i no patch is eating the right food because just by looking at him you no hes very healthy 8)

Dont mean to sound like a nasty ninnie but I'm unsure about Patch2010 as a poster. Something just seems odd. I might be way off the mark but I'm just unsure :{
