At the start of the year I had five pairs of boys. As you may know from other threads I lost Little Starman to kidney failure in August then Jaffy to lymphoma in September, leaving two bereaved piggies i am hoping to bond.
Now I have lost Chalky too to sudden onset and severe bloat. Despite emeprid, metacam, buprenorphine and fluids, and initially showing signs of improvement he got worse and had to be pts yesterday. My vet suspects he may have had a twisted gut. He was age 4&1/2

I'm very sorry! It's always hard to loose a piggy but three piggies ...

I have a lot of piggies and a lot of them are getting old so I know there will always be losses, one a month is hard though and Chalky wasn't old.

Thank you its been a sad time but I am happy that King Edward and Pendragon are now bonded and seem very happy together although its still early days. That just leaves Chalky's brother, Pascal, on his own and needing a new friend.
