I am beeing treeted by the hospital for memory problems
In A place in liverpool caled mossly hill there is a clinic that spesilizes
In the condition
Anyway l drove there yesterday for an appointment, and luckerly the doctor said that the efects of the tablets l
Had been given were wering off and l was making good progress:D

But (there is alwasy a "but" lol.)
To my horror the place was set out like a maze and not only was l late for the appointment
As l couldent find the right deparetment,
When l got out l couldent find my car :woot:
To add to the problem, l got it into my tiny brain that l had parked on a double yellow line
And had visions of beeing clamped

I had visions of having to get a taxi home, :vom:

Oh no, how distressing for you. Hope you are over the shock of losing your car. I went shopping with a friend once and we lost his car in a very large multi storey car park, we couldn't remember which floor it was on. Hope you continue to make very good progress.

I'm glad you are making progress.

I have the memory of a goldfish!

I rmemeber once I went into town and parked in a multi story car park, and I couldn't find my car. I was on the totally wrong side of the building!

I once took MrsHogg to the hospital, I told her to save taking HoggJnr (he was 18 mths old at the time) in with us as he was asleep in his baby seat, I would stay and wait in the car with him. Her appointment came and went and she hadn't returned. about 20 minutes later, she got back to the car looking sheepish. She explained that she had jumped into an identical car as ours and berated the driver for moving the car! she then realised that the driver (who looked like me - well he was bald!) wasn't me - cue embarrassed apologies and a quick escape! When she finally found us, she remembered that she had gone in one door, but exited via a different door and got disorientated! :)) I still haven't let her forget 16 years later! :))

Sod that, I'm going to dine out on that forever! :tu: Every time she has a go at me for forgetting something, I gently remind her she's not the sharpest mind at Mensa! :))

Remind me not to come to you for advice on happy married life

We've been together nearly 20 years so we must be doing something right! ;)

We have also pointed our car keys at the wrong car lol. That sounds a very distressing time :(

Good news that you are doing well. Losing my car in car parks is a regular occurrence for me. I once went to the desk at a major NCP in Manchester to reporter that my car had been stolen. They replayed the cctv, found where I had parked, checked the current cctv and pointed on the screen to my car which was parked exactly where I had left it. Majorly embarrassing!

I took a friend to Kingston on Thames for her driving theory test years ago. Neither of us had been there before. We parked in the NCP car park. On return to the car park the car was nowhere to be found and the car park did not look familiar. Turns out that there are 7 NCP car parks in the area and we had no idea which one we had left the car in. We walked up and down 4 of them before we found the car again!

I once went to Brussels with a mate, we parked in a multi storey carpark and we asked a local what bus went into the city centre. We were on holiday and quite excited and hadn't made a note of the carpark address or the bus number. After walking round for 6 hours, we found a police officer and showed him the ticket stub and asked for directions. You could have knocked us down with a feather when he said turn around - there was the carpark, we'd walked for miles and found our way back by accident! :))
