Earlier Doughnut's (avatar) eye had a big glob of milky discharge on it. It went away, but I'm still really worried. There is no discharge anywhere else and he doesn't seem to be acting any different, also the discharge hasn't come back. Any ideas as to why this happened?

Thank you for putting my mind at rest Wiebke! It definitely wasn't watery, and he was cleaning himself (cutest thing ever!) at the time.

Looks like I overreacted again... :mal:

You see the milky discharge usually during or just after a piggy wash.

Hmm I've seen him wash himself quite a few times, but never noticed the discharge.

What made it a bit odd was it was just in one eye!

20140720_203509.webp This is Gus just after bath time, he obviously didn't feel that my washing was sufficient and opted to clean himself afterwards. I panicked at first too because I thought he was crying!

One of my boys washes his face all the time (it's so cute!) and most of the time the discharge is there. I had the same reaction when I first saw it! It disappears almost instantly after they have finished cleaning themselves x

It took a bit of time to disappear this time, but the cleaning was so cute! Doughnut has medium length, frizzy fur, so when he washes himself he turns into this mad fluff ball using his fluffy white paws to clean his face, and washes his sides.
