repeat after me 20 times (note to self)

This past month I have bought:

1 new cage for John Anderson
vetbed for said cage
coconeem melt and shampoo for John Anderson (but that's a medical necessary)
willow balls and sticks for both piggies
chube for John Anderson
Bob himself
food bowl for Bob
water bottle for Bob
LOADS of veggies (my hubby is complaining that the fridge is full of guinea pig food ::) )
2 small animal pens (one each)
1 log bridge thing for Bob

I shall not buy any more I shan't. I must stay away from petshops for at least 3 weeks...and online piggy stores
 
ROFL I'm the same, I only go when I have to now otherwise I'd buy everything in sight! :)

hehe I know it's terrible.

Toilet rolls- you now think of them as a great way to make toys.

And worse still, you plan your dinner around which veg the piggies like, not what you want! :D :D :D
 
It's terrible! I've been to the petshop the past 2 days in a row..yesterday was just to get hay, today I had to stop myself buying the kabob thingie, the snuggle thingie (Bob would look so cute and cosy in the mini one), the hay roll tube thingie, the ginger piggie with rosettes and a mohican :smitten:

Oh I forgot to add 2 pigloos...one each for when I put them in the cage together next week!
 
Lol i'm the same i have been to P@H 4 times the past week. I went last Sunday for new fish, Monday i bought Hermione, Friday i adopted 2 hmsters from there and today i went with my dad for a few more fish and hamster food etc. I've been in so many times the assistant manager recognised me each time and remembered the aniamls i got and asked about them. I am not going back there antime this week ;D

Only teasing.. I know what you mean - I can't resist getting them a little treat or toy, and it really does add up. I couldn't help spoiling Luna either (our syrian hamster) when we were buying her cage. This is a quote from my husband:

"For god's sake, do you have to buy the whole shop every time we're in here?!"

Says it all.... ;D
 
Everytime we go to a petshop OH gets a new toy for the pigs or the rabbits. I love buying them bowls and stuff - we spend more money on the fluffies than we do on ourselves!
I also buy more veggies for them - I tell myself all the broccoli is for one of our dinners but we end up giving to the animals! (and the cucumber, and the green leaves etc etc). I have even started growing my own parsley fo rthem - I don't like parsley! 98)
 
well, you wouldn't be a piggie lover/mummy/daddy ;D if you didn't want to buy everything for them. it's like my hand wors automatically and i can't stop myself buying lovely things for them. still, they're worth it! :smitten: :smitten: ;D
 
hey i'm the same way sometimes I spend the money on my little piggy before I have it! credit card and stuff. I love to buy him little treats and toys and such even if he doesn't really need it. I spend a lot of money on my pets (I have some fish too) and love buying him stuff I have been to the pet store so many times this month!

Has anyoen tried the willow balls for their piggies? Scruffy demolished half of his in days and the others seemed to like chewing on them and pushing them around with their noses! OH bought them all plastic balls with bells in last weekend! ha ha!

2 pigs
one nero 3
one run
jumbo bag of pellets
2 jumbo bags of hay
woodshavings
vet bed for nero3 because found out how bad woodshavings were!
3 sets of small fiddlesticks
2 sets of large fiddlesticks
3 fleeces
2 pigloos
2 chubes
1 rabbit bed
2 packs of grids for C&C cage
One huge piece of correx
more vetbed for C&C cage
2 new bowls
tonnes of veg
a new waterbottle
2 willow ball things
galens green cream
and around £30 worth of vets bills!
All in 3 WEEKS!
That's not including what i spend on my cat ;D
but they're worth it :smitten:

wow..... that's .... a lot I certainly don;t have all that money to spend, your piggies sound very loved :)
 
Haha they are! But i only got them 3 weeks ago so thats not what i will be buying regularly! Just the initial dint in the wallet! x
 
I've bought my two a multipack of willow balls and willow sticks. Neither seem interested in the willow sticks..thinking maybe if I seperate them up they might be more interested.
But John Anderson has demolished half his willow ball already and I only bought it on Tuesday!

Jnenbnb Oh my goodness, LOL I thought I had bought heaps, I think you win this one ;D

I had to laugh at this :)
My OH no longer "comments" on the piggies veg in the fridge because they now have their very own "veg fridge" ;D ;D
 
STAY AWAY FROM PAMPERED PIGGIES site then as you may be well tempted, I think I will be making a order this week but have to sweet talk hubby first ^-^ ^-^
Oh and then there is ebay I must stop!
 
Well for my pigs and rabbits in the last Wheek i have bought about 30kg of food, 30 willow chews, 10 carrot throw toys, 2 pigloos, 2 water bottles, veg and a few others chews, depending on whose favourites are, so not too bad a wheek for me lol
 
Oops...better avoid the shop on thistle cavies too then. I got paid today...oops...i couldn't help myself! Only went on for a pack of dried herbs.....oops

Still, all in a good cause ;D ;D I always think it alleviates some of the guilt if you know the money is going to a good home ;D
 
marc says if i buy anything else hes getting rid of me,, not the piggies.. marc wont let me go near a petshop if I'm with him,, i visit them in secret..lol
