I smell Watermelon!

I was snacking on a big piece of watermelon today. With my watermelon in hand, I happened to walk past my guinea pig's cage. All 3 guinea pigs started wheeking loudly.

Sylvester ( who LOVES watermelon), started going crazy. He was chewing on the bars, trying to climb the bars, and poking his nose through the bars to smell the watermelon.

I grabbed my camera to capture his goofiness, and then I felt sorry for him. So I went into the kitchen, and grabbed a little bit of watermelon for them to snack on.

The pictures are a little blurry, but here's Sylvester desperately wanting watermelon!

Awwww... thay have you well trained. We haven't tried watermelon yet, I keep waiting for it to be on offer.

mine love it too,but favour the firm bit and the rind so I often cut of half of the flesh and give them the rest

I just gave them the fleshy red part. But can guinea pigs eat the rind, (the skin)?
