Me being stupid again but as some of you may already know, unfortunately I have no space indoors for my 2 girls so they live outside in the outhouse (We open the door wide all day). The problem is that sometimes I feel guilty at night for shutting them in there. They have plenty of bedding and have carpet wrapped around their hutch. I am just making sure that they are ok in there and wondering if they are better off in there or would they be best to just be kept in the yard? It's only sometimes at night when I shut them up that I feel guilty :-\

Awww it sounds like they're well protected - I know what you mean, I worry about mine wherever they are - esp. when it's cold! But I think that's human nature to worry if you're doing the best for them. I'm sure they're fine. If they were miserable you'd have noticed!

I'v e got 8 guineas - 2 are indoor but no room for the rest so they live outside in a brick built shed. They are fine as they are protected from the elements in winter & they are safely locked away at night. There have been sad cases locally of rabbits & guineas being taken by predators even from hutches. I'm sure your guineas are well looked after & if they share hutches, they've always got a little guinea friend to cuddle up to & keep warm!

Mine are in a shed type wendy house girls in a C&C and boys in 4x2 cages. 4 of my boys love the peace and quite and the girls love their cage Sunshine wants to come back in though I can see that he isn't quite as happy as he usually is out there so when Twinkle gets a friend he and Radley will come in and Twinkle will go in the shed but then I love having Twinks in...wonder if I can get away with 4 in the house! ::) ;D
