I think I accidentally removed his penis prongs, not sperm rods. HELP.

So this was the first time I had attempted to clean my boy's genitals. I had watched loads of tutorials and researched so I thought I had enough of an idea....But I didn't know about penis prongs and how to tell the difference between those and sperm rods. I think I accidentally removed his penis prongs. I was wondering why there was a small amount of blood. Also not sure if that's why the tip pf his shaft looks kind of purple. I feel like a complete idiot. What can I do to make him feel better?

I would strongly suggest going to a vet as there is a risk of infection. Did the rod/prongs come away easily?

Oh dear that sounds painful, I would go straight to the vet! Its usually best to leave well alone with boy bits and just do a quick visual check unless there is an obvious problem...

I agree. Please have him seen by a vet. I have a neutered boy and have never actually seen his penis as I’ve heard it’s best to leave well alone.
