I think I have a chirper!

I got woken up in the middle of the night by chirping. I couldn't work out what the heck it was, so turned on my lamp, and it stopped. Then I went back to sleep, thinking, "I'll post about this on the forum tomorrow."

The trouble is, I am not sleeping well lately so it could have been my mind playing tricks on me since I've never heard either of them chirp ever. :{

What does chirping mean? Is it good? Bad?
Or is it more likely that I was hallucinating from lack of sleep? mallethead

No no you aren't hallucinating! I've heard one of mine chirping twice (and my OH a third time) BUT we can never tell who it is because they've only done it when we've been really quiet so I assume they don't know we are there.

I haven't found out who my chirper is because she will stop as soon as I move...

Your guess as to why piggies are doing it is as good as mine.

My Montgomery is a chirper. I'm sure there must be some reason why piggies do this, probably instinct from piggies living in the wild. Any time Montgomery chirps, he is always chilling out under the wardrobe so I dont think its related to fear or stress. I dont think anyone really knows. Enjoy the chirping.
