Junior Guinea Pig
I bought a new toy for my piggy today - Wooden Roll 'n' Chew | Rabbit Toys | Rabbit Products | Omlet . I thought I would cut sticks of veg to stick into the holes to amuse him. So I come through the livingroom with my chopping board, cucumber, apple, carrot and pepper (I broke my foot yesterday so needed to sit down while cutting it). Sat down on the couch on the opposite side of the room and started cutting the veg. As soon as I walked into the room he must have smelt the veggies and did his usual excited pace at the front of the cage.
After about 1 minute when he realised I wasn't bringing them to him he started freaking out wheeking a lot louder than I've ever heard and madly running about his cage knocking over all his hideys and toys. I had to go give him a slice of carrot to appease him until I finished cutting the sticks.
I don't think I'll be cutting veg in the livingroom again lol
He was definitely impressed with his ball with sticks of veg though, he's still munching away at it

my 4 year old left his torch sitting on the top step of my stairs and I fell down the whole staircase carrying the washing basket >< could have been worse than a broken foot and some bruises though
