I hate when companies like that don't get their facts right rolleyes people will read that and think it's true grrrr
I've a few leaflets from different companies and RSPCA ones here about pet care and most of them have some things that aren't true . . . nothing too serious, just like some say that a 2ft cage is ok for guinea pigs. The RSPCA say things like all guinea pigs needs to be brushed daily, and long haired guinea pigs should only be kept for show, but I had a Sheltie and he only needed brushing once a week. I know it's good to encourage people to brush them and handle them, and maybe if you exaggerate then it'll convince them. But the RSPCA rabbit one says things like to feed a rabbit double the amount of food from the start of pregnancy, and not to touch the babies (both wrong and can be harmful, because the rabbit will gain too much weight and could have difficulty giving birth, and you have to handle the babies to make sure they're all healthy and feeding ok and the mother won't eat them!). I know they're not major things, but it does annoy me a bit
Oh and I was on the RSPCA or ISPCA website recently and it said about hamsters, that no hamsters can be kept together. But that's not true, some types of dwarf hamsters can be kept together, so people who read that will be keeping their dwarf hamsters on their own Unless there was some other page about dwarf hamsters that I missed :{
