I'm becoming less sane by the minute... Just found myself calling the pigs "piggywubs"...

You know when you just get stuck in that piggish moment where you're shouting strange words to get them to come up to the bars for food. Perky is so funny though because she always looks like Jaws when she comes up the bars.
 
Hahaha exactly! "Hello piggles are you hungry? Yes you are! Oh yes you are!" It was a bit more extreme today though... "Hello Cooks, are you eating hay? GO AWAY, OF COURSE I'M EATING HAY, WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE. You're so weird." Oh dear, the things pigs do to us... Lol! I guess we just get carried away because their cuteness is very hypnotising.
 
Piggywubs is very strange for me as I usually call them piggles or piglets! In fact, I was calling them up to the bars with those words and it just turned into piggywubs. I feel so evil though because I keep calling them up to the bars when I have no food just to see if they are definitely responding to my voice now, lol!
 
you can't be insane because like that saying my mum told me now I'm telling you it !
( it goes like this , if your talking to your self then you start looking for the hairs on the palm of your hands) something like that anyway, who cares people are weird !

:yikes: seriously.... you have hairs on your palms...... not even my girls have hairy palms! :lol!:
 
I cant stop myself making guinea pig sounds in response to things, its really hard to talk in human to shop attendants etc.
Guinea pigs know how they can control us, when they are sitting still staring at you, thats actually them hypnotizing you and planting subliminal messages and rewiring your brain.
 
:rant: talk about going insaine, l just drove to the 24/7 Asda to get some stuff and it if closed ? At first l thought l had slept through , and it was morning but that was not the case , l then googled Asda opening times and apparently all of them are closed in liverpool
Anyone know why Asda store sould be closed a 9 at night

Sunday trading laws Dave I would imagine. Shops over a certain size cannot open.
 
I hope your right Lee, if there closed to day the pigs will have no vegies :yikes:

Piggies make everything you do 'not insane' however mad other people would see it! :)) I think everyone is guilty of making conversation with them or attempting to speak in piggy language back :P
 
It is perfectly normal to write things like pigtures, wheek, furballs for everyday items.

Reading the guinea pig magazine in your break at work Is just a natural thing to do, the look the others give me is not an insane one..... It is a look of jealousy (yes - I'm sure!)

Shredded paper really is referred to as 'guinea pig carpet' in my world &I do tell my colleagues that when I come out of work with a big bagfull of the stuff!

Everyone who knows me knows I dont have children but I have to sort out the girls :)

In the summer it is completely fine to lie out on the grass next to the run. Watching the girls as traffic &pedestrians go by next to the main road. Its not really odd looks I get. (that's before I squeal 'bedtime' at them or 'dindies whirlies' (dandelions) in a highly excitable voice!

Yep we're all normal... Shame the others aren't :eek: :clap: !

I try to reason with mine. My son and my boyfriend crack up. If they start wheeking and they have had everything I tell them its not their turn and the other animals need attention. I talk to all my animals as does my daughter.Think we are the normal ones on here and other people are mad
