I had bent down to put some stuff away in the guinea pig cupboard, and Elliot (who is roaming around) must have snuck up behind me, because when I stood up I accidentally gave him a massive shove with my foot! I feel sooo bad, he had come up to say hello but ended up getting kicked. I put some fresh hay out by way of apology but I still feel awful about it. :0

Have you ever accidentally hurt one of your piggies?

YUP, when they are having floortime, Wilma got a nudge, but she was fine :)! I'm sure Elliott will forgive you in no time :)!

Yes, Taylor my PE Self White (over at Rainbow Bridge now) once jumped out of my hands when I was putting her back in her hutch. She screamed with pain, and limped on one of her front legs for a minute or 2. She'd just stunned it and was fine after that. I felt dreadful as I felt responsible.

I take it Elliot is alright though?

Oh dear, don't worry he'll forgive you. I've done similar they like to get under your feet. I made Stripes jump the other day and he fell out of bed poor thing. It's not far, only the height of a folded up towel but it took him by suprise! A quick shake and he was alright.

My Montgomery is forever getting tangled in my feet. Ive tripped over him many a time. He has given me into trouble before by chattering his teeth at me. Dont worry about it, I'm sure the piggie has forgotten about it already..

Yes, I have had the occasional shove, but have thankfully avoided stepping one of mine so far. But I had to develop "eyes at my back"!

I am ashamed to say that once I was hoovering out the gps bed and one of them ran straight into the hoover and was stuck for about 2 seconds I felt bloody awful I tell you, but have been very careful ever since and it has never happened since!

One time I was putting my Connie (r.i.p) in to their in door run which used to be in our kitchen on the tiled floor. Connie jumped from my arms and landed awkward. She kind of screamed in pain and was wobbly. Luckily, she was okay just a little stunned. Then another time, Eliza hurt her neck when she jumped from my husbands arms. Luckily, she was okay too. Accidents happen so don't blame yourself x

My Freddie recently did the good old piggy leap of faith as I was putting him back, he went over badly on his neck and then started limping and chattering for a good 5 minutes, he must have knocked the wind out of himself! I ran screaming to the OH thinking I had really hurt him but then when he went to check he was running around as normal, he had a vet check and was fine but I felt awful :(
