I am really considering trying one last time to re-bond all 5 pigs. The only one who has made it difficult is Eva but recently she has been allowing her daughters to boss her about!

This evening I took away the lino that was blocking Edna and Eileen's view of Eva and the babies. They were all able to meet each other through the C&C grid. Last time I tried this, Eva was very upset, teeth chattering very loudly and just running around distressed.

This evening they were fine. The babies were so happy and excited to meet Eileen and Edna again and Eva was fine, no noise, no stress, just said hello and rubbed faces etc for a good 10 mins then went and had a lay down!

I've had to block it off again as Eden wedged her head through the grid and got stuck... I really think I might try them all together tomorrow in neutral territory, just one last time.
 
Oh brilliant. All that lovely space that they could have.

It does look promising. Really hope it goes well.
 
With signs that positive I would be tempted to give it a final try.
You know what you are doing and what to look for, so fingers crossed they can agree to get on.

Sounds promising. I guess you just have to take it slowly, but surely. The babies are very curious, bless them. I hope it all goes smoothly!
 
Thanks everyone. Going to try this afternoon when I've got time to sit with them all and watch what happens. I would be so, so happy if it works out. Fingers and toes firmly crossed!

Eva and Edna got closer and the teeth chattering and chasing immediately started. The teeth chatter got louder and they both went face to face so I knew from before where this was heading. What a shame. I split them back up and both kept teeth chattering for a good 5 mins afterwards.

At least I can now say I tried one last time and I am happy to know that is as far as I can take it and my girls will have to remain as 2 groups
 
Awww, sorry it didn't work out :( Sometimes it is not meant to be, you have two adorable groups though!
 
Ah, nevermind, least you had a good go at it. Sad, really, has that pic of them all together is so lovely.
