I think they like me?

I've been handling my little sows everyday for a few minutes at a time and I think they might like me.
They are much easier to catch now and don't squeal the place down when I pick them up. They don't scuttle off at the sound of my voice or the sight of me approaching. They let me brush and comb them. They both talk to me now.
And.... for the first time today they both decided I needed to be washed and nibbled! Very gentle licks and nibbles I hasten to add. It was so cute, bless them.
They both like to snuggle up round my neck and Daisy-Boo even started licking my ear!
Am I correct in thinking this is a sign of guinea pig affection? I do hope so.
I love my girlies and really want to build a loving, trusting relationship with them both. x)

Sounds like they are warming up to you

One of my piggies nibbled me yesterday and I thought it was malicious. It wasn't hard, but I was worried it might become hard biting! Is this actually not a bad sign then if I get nibbled? The other pig tried to eat my trousers?!

Sounds like they trust and like you now you lucky thing. I can't wait for mine to start trusting me...i picked them up for a short while today and while i held them (one at time lol) they just sat there while i spoke softly to them and stroked them...I only done it for a short while and put them back again.

Ah that's brilliant, one of my boys likes to climb up to my neck and stick his head in my hair, he also likes a little nibble of my tops if they are woolly or fleecy!
