I want to hug her and boop her nose at the same time right now.

I was just going to go upstairs. It's still light enough to see OK with the lights off, but I noticed Dahlia was awful still and had her head positioned weird in the hay dish. Sometimes my movements scare her and her sister, but Dahlia stayed put. I called her name, still nothing. I got up right next to the cage and said her name again. Nothing. I nearly shouted it as I couched down and finally she took off running as fast as her little legs would carry her.

I feel bad for scaring her, but my heart was in my throat and I was almost crying. Her eyes had been open and she was so zoned out... I'm still shaking a little. They're only going to be three years old; they can't leave me yet ><

What a shame:(
I've had that before, they're lying so still when they sleep that sometimes it doesn't look like theyre breathing:eek:

My piggy Lorenzo used to do this on a daily basis! He always flopped over onto his side, eyes rolled back, seemingly not breathing, you'd make a movement or a noise and he wouldn't respond. Scared the life out of me on more than one occasion!

My old girl Connie does something similar and has her eyes open so it makes it look even worse. Several times we've shocked each other by me poking he and her legging it away in a panic!

Argh yes it makes your heart jump into your throat :yikes:
I learnt to quietly tap their house so they'd feel the vibration. That scared my girls less
Miss Dahlia don't scare your mummy like that again! Xxxxx

I feel your pain, Football has been known to do this.
