When I was sleeping a few days ago, I woke up because I could hear a sound, it was a soft sort of wheeking, but not the sounds that Hope, Gizmo or Patch make. These were chirrips and happy sounds of a piggy popcorning around the room. I sat up and I saw a small light, down by the guitars.

You didn't stay too long, but I am so thankful you came to see me. To say thank you for being your mummy and for letting you go when I did.

When I woke up in the morning, I felt better than I had since you left us, and I knew where you were, you were happy and comfortable over the bridge.

We love you Alphonse and it has been over a month now since we lost you, run free little one and be at peace.

That was very beautiful. I'm glad your happy over the bridge, little Alphonse. Sometimes I still can hear my piggies too. Yesterday, I thought I caught a whiff of Smores's scent...

Its like they come to make sure your OK and thank you for everything that you did for them. Its beautiful as they really are around us, and I am sure that Alphonse and Smores are happily playing together.

The passing of my first piggie Bob some years ago was very hard for me. To this day, I still think I catch glimpses of her little black and white body running into the pigloo. I think she is watching over the other girls now. I'm glad you have been brought some comfort..

I also have a piggy named Bob :)

Sometimes I think I hear my departed piggies sounds, Nibbles chattering, Josephine chirping, Smores chasing his cage mates...
Once after my first piggy, Fred, died, I heard what sounded like guinea pig nails on the floor, and there was no piggy...
 
omg that made me sob, thank god the oh is asleep next to me!

How lucky are you i would love it if my late piggies pepper, salt or sid or Chips or Nancy my old dogs came back to visit me...now i live in hope :)
 
*hugs back* I miss him terribly at times, when I look at the cage, it doesn't feel right that he isn't there watching me.

He was my partner's first piggy and my 3rd. He has met with my 1st Piggy, Sniffy who I had as a child, I always blamed myself for her death as she had wet tail and I couldnt save her, I know now she never blamed me.
 
Oh how lovely that he came to see you, made me cry too.
 
It was Daddy's Birthday today. Patch wished him a Happy Birthday for you, but we miss you so much still little man, you always made us laugh so much the way you used to popcorn around and chirrup as you went. I can't believe 2 months has passed since you slipped away.
