I've been quite ill recently with Tonsillitis and then my stomach had a ridiculously bad reaction to the antibiotics :(

Anyway .. I'm on the mend now, so I decided to treat myself to this little number, which will also be a small investment for my new piggy gifts business. It's so cute and dinky! I love it! :D :)

I'm so excited, I can't wait to start making bits and bobs with it. It'll be great for light sewing projects.

Are any of you into sewing? Do you have any tips for a novice?
 
Why hello here you cheeky little number, looks like a nice one :-)

I've recently started sewing and like you was so excited. It's mainly for my piggies too lol.

So far I've made my piggies a bed each, on the second hammock for the rabbit as he chewed through the last one, a tissue box holder and a few other little bits.
 
:D Nice-looking little machine. How small is it? I bought a portable sewing machine off eBay a couple of years ago. It worked fine until the tension adjuster broke - now it's useless. :td: If I remember right, it only cost £15. You gets what you pay for!

I'd say it's the size of a smallish toaster, if that's a good comparison? My mums sewing machine is in the background and is quite a bit bigger than mine. I'll look in the box later and see if it gives the measurements. It was £49 which I don't think is bad for the quality. :)

Lol ok. Be warned though they may come back with more holes in than what they started with. I need plenty of practice on scraps of material so I'll be having a go each day as well as doing my clay works.
