weve even got a fur lined bedroom..lol, spoilt

I just put a tiny bit of bleach in then some detergent.
I heard its better to use powder detergent for fleece though but I just use liquid.

if you use fleece, don't use fabric conditioner, it makes a barrier and the wee will sit on top of the fleece instead of absorbing through to the newspaper.

Your cages look great! Can they climb out of the kiddie pool or is it too high? How many piggies do you have? My two boys live right next to each other and have their cages that open out to their play pens.

This is my main area...

In the smaller cage lives Elvis, it was Cucumber but she has moved up to the Shed with the other oldies.
The 2x2 live 3 boars, LJ (eating hay), Radley (black eatting hay) and Aurelio (on the shelf)
The 3x2 lives 5 sows, Fred, Lily-Pad, Kanika, Loba and Nina, plus two babies.
I know its not what is recommended but I am planning on building an extension plus the babies are only temporary.

Missing is Zac, who lives in a smaller cage and Delightful/Tara they are in the kitchen.

Thank you. :)

They have never climbed out of it. It's 15 inches high. I've also never seen them even try.
I have 2 pigs.

Pigsdad how do you attatch the hinges so that it folds up?I have made 6ft by 3ft runs for my piggies and they are held together by cable ties!It would be great to be able to fold them up for storing over winter.

Just wondering how old your 3 boars are that live together? Also, how temporary is temporary? How long do you plan to have them in those cages? Do they get lots of regular floor time? Just when I separated my original pair of boys I had them both in a 2x2 each and with the hidey and food bowls there was hardly room to move, couldn't imagine having 3 in that space. Not going to mention the female cage but space wise it must be even more cramped for them.

Wow all your cages look great! And what precious piggies!

What toys are your guineas fond of that you put in their cages for them? My piggie Shura seems to not be fond of his pigloo anymore and always knocks it over if I put it in his cage... he has a toy octupus that he likes. Hriusha likes his fuzzy bed.
