this lady has these little guinea pigs for adoption! i saw this one and was hoping it was a girl. i got close to the cage and they all ran but this one stood there and let me touch its' little nose with my finger! .... i was sad to know it was a male. I have two boys now and i dont know if adding a third boy would be a good idea!

another idea i had was to get the little one neuter and add him to the girls cage but dont know yet!

Go get him! :D
Your girls will love him as much as you do, I’m sure of it

You are right in thinking that 3 boys won't work.
If you do really want him and are prepared to have him neutered and then wait another 6 weeks before introducing him to the girls, that would be the best plan.

Yes, i can definitely get him neutered.

I'm of the opinion that neutering boys are so worth it! I'm so sad that boys often get over looked because the common misconception that they would fight. Vets often don't help by giving misleading advice. (Apparently the owner of my first piggy was told by a vet not to get her a friend because they'd fight!)

I'm so happy to have Harvey as my neutered husboar of my little herd. It feels like we've got a complete family. If you want to put in the time and money do it! It's always so worth it!

What a gorgeous piggie. You have to get him! You know you can give him a loving home. Remember to wait until the 6 weeks is up after neutering before introducing him to your girlies.

Any news on baby yet?

Do it! He'll probably love some ladies friends when he get the chop!

He’s gorgeous. If you can neuter him and keep him separate for 6 weeks then he’d be gorgeous to live with your girls. However a boar trio would be most unlikely to work. He is gorgeous.

Awww he is so cute!

It’s so hard to resist when you see one that pulls at your heartstrings. I very nearly ended up with yet another rat recently but managed to pull myself away because the logistics of successfully integrating him after quarantine were going to drag on for longer than would have been healthy for him all alone.

So did you get the little guy? Did your wife agree? :xd:

OMG! pignapping coat at the ready! what a handsome lad, he's gorgeous!:luv:

ah! you do need to wait until he is 4 months old before the vet can neuter him ! the testicles need to be decended.then when he has had his op wait 6 weeks before placing with the sows,to prevent any unplanned pregnancies. It is worth it,makes a boar so happy to have wives.
