I really want some baby guinea pigs :( I know my hubby wont let me but all of my piggies have been 1 year old when i got them and not tame at all and i would really like some baby piggies so i can see them grow and they can be use to us from the start.

Dont get me wrong i love my pigges to bits and would not change them for anything.

This is a bit of a pointless thread as i know hubby would say no but just needed to get it off my chest. :(

Sneak one in....men don't notice these things :)):x

My first baby piggie Junior is 900g now! We got him in September and it's gone so quick, not my baby anymore, he still does his laps and popcorning fits though :(|)

yes my brother didnt even know that i got a baby guinea pig one day he was looking at my guinea pigs and he called me and said i think one of your guinea pigs is actually a boy, i said what do * mean and he was like look they had a baby rolleyes:))

I dont think my hubby would notice he is awfull lol

I know what you mean, I love mine with all my heart, but I think I've got a wee bit more love to give! I was in p@h getting some bits and pieces and seen a wee piggie that was pure white with longish hair that reminded me of a piggie that a member on here has called Gaga and I was like x)x)x)x) but my two are so settled and happy that I'd hate to upset that all by trying to introduce another, but that little white piggie was so beautiful, I hope he found a good home :)

There would be no way i could sneek some in hehe. I would not want to introduce them to any of my current piggies so would have to get a new hutch.

It is my birthday next month so i could try and talk him round hehe

But saying that Bailey and Oscar were my early birthday pressie lol :)

I never planned baby piggys but one of my first 2 piggys was unexpectedly pregnant when I got her (and I didnt know until 2 days before the birth rolleyes) .... and its been great having her babies with me from birth.... although I would never have knowingly gone for this option its been great and I love them all.....but then I dont have an OH to object to such things...lol... which is something I really like....lol
x

I will have to get everyone to load pics of baby piggies up so i can try and talk hubby round lol :)

x)x)x)x)x)x)x)x) I am so in love. Just showed hubby and kids and the kids really want some lol

Can you get the kids to nag a bit? Would that get him to change his mind if he did not get any peace always worked pretty well when we where young lol. my aunt wanted a dog but her hubby said no so they all nagged him it's all he heard and when he was not with them they left notes EVERYWHERE saying they wanted a dog. After a few weeks it worked lol.

What a wicked idea :) I may just do the nagging and leave notes everywhere lol x:(|)

I find there are always ways to get round my hubby lol and nagging defo helps really hope you manage to get them :)

It's a shame you aren't closer as my mum's pig has just had seven babies! They are the sweetest bundles of love even at just a day old! x)

Where is your mum? Well if i talk hubby round then we could piggie train them :) I shouldnt get my hopes up too much as i really dont think hubby will say yes. You will have to get some pics up to help change his mind hehe

This might make him change his mind:

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I am so in love with all your photos and video :) I will show hubby in a bit. x

Computer games don't need to be fed everyday, they don't wee/poo, they don't require cage cleaning or grooming and they don't have to see the vet when necessary lol Computer games one time cost and you can always sell them. Guinea pigs several costs and hopefully a home for the years they are alive.

Just saying...:p

Baby Pigs, are very cute but do remember they do grow into Adult Pigs, don't get them on a Whim, as they can be costly and you do have to plan for the next food, medical bills etc. I found planning and explaining how I could fit just 2 more pigs was my best move, as once people realise it won't affect them they are more likely to say yes. Saying that the vet bills I have had to pay out on.. rolleyes.

Make sure and prepare before committing.

Good Luck, on operation say Yes. :))
