It's been three weeks (and one day) since I lost my last oldie piggy Poppy :0

We weren't sure what to do, have a holiday coming up soon anyway so were waiting until after then to decide, do we or don't we start again rolleyes I am having bad withdrawal symptoms, coming on here is making it much worse seeing all the lovely piggie pics drool

I have a soft spot for fluffy pigs like Rex's (Poppy was a Rex very laid back) & Abby's as they are great characters. I am browsing the Rescues at the moment in anticipation lol! Omg why are they so addictive? :))

here are my rex's :) just so you can drool :)

If you have the time, space, finances and love to give to some more piggies which are in desperate need of love and a home then why not?

I dont know if you feel that getting some more will be replacing the ones you have sadly lost, however we can never replace our departed friends, however when they pass, it is an opportunity (i cant think of a better word, i dont really mean "opportunity") to give another piggy a loving home and chance, just as we did with our departed pets.

Oh no they can never be replaced, all four of them (over 11 years) were very different characters, gentle, grumpy, nutty & just plain loving :) I do feel I have a hole in my heart now though, it's hard to be without any piggies at all, I miss their wheeks when I open the fridge door & the cuddles, the licking & the purring when you stroke them. They are the best pets ever in my opinion, so entertaining & adorable x)

lol :) you could try but i dont think they would let you :) unless you have lots of grass. i only have 2 rex's but they are the very good little characters. both girls so the best of course :(|)

Aww, i've only had my piggies for seven months and i couldn't imagine a home without them now! They demand attention morning and evening, it's like having a dog :)) so i totally understand. As said above if you can give them everything they need then........

GET MORE RESCUE PIGGIES!

xx>>>xx>>> Keep us updated on your plans! There are so many needing a lovely home like yours, and you would definitely not be replacing Poppy or the others. Piggies are too individual to ever be replaced :)

OMG that last photo is just too cute! Theyre all beautiful :(|)

Rodney was part rex, thick coat and curly whiskas :(|) I think I would have to get another Rex type if I got some more.

I'm really excited for you :(|)

I thought he looked a little like my Poppy :) I can't help but have a soft spot for them, I do like the piggies with more rounded faces, however I have had a smooth coated one too in the past.

I don't think Rescues will re-home a pig as a companion if I fall in love with a baby somewhere, would they ? I mean if I found a baby then wanted a rescue older piggie as a companion, would they try to bond them for me? ?/

They are addictive arn't they! I started off with 2 and now have 9!:{

I have two rexes and these plus teddys and swiss are my favouritesdrool

good luck with your seach something to look forward to after your hols:))
