I've been looking to adopt a piggie - I tried contacting Guineas for life in Merseyside but have had no reply and cannot get hold of them by phone. The North Clwyd Pet rescue does not have any guineas, niether does the RSPCA on the Wirral... does anyone have any ideas or contacts? I already have 1 piggie Tiger and a rabbit and would really love to give an unwanted male piggie a home but i can't seem to find any!
I live in N.Wales (buckley) but can easily get to the Wirral, Chester or other parts of N.Wales.

Thanks All,
Still no luck tho, no one seems to have a male for adoption in this area, and i haven't had any replies from the ones I've contacted :(

Will have to try again next weekend.
:(

Thanks, I'll try the e-mail! he is a lovely texel piggie but my Tiger is long haired and it taked me all my time to groom him, so ideally would be looking for a less hairy little fella!

Speak to Starshine, she's got several s/h single boars at the mo :)

Hi There

I will text Lainey today and see why she isn't answering!

I will pass on your email address to her too!

Beks is right - I have a houseful of lovely boars waiting for homes at the moment if you or anyone else is interested!

Thanks All!

Starshine, where abouts are you?

She lives in Birmingham and she has taken some off my rescue's off me so I know she has plenty of boys!

Hi katie

I know you was really interested in Milo as you discussed him in our emails - Nick has been looking after the rescue for me as I have been ill and not allowed to use the computor!

We do infact have a young male piggie he is only 4 weeks old so if you could wait a couple of wheeks for him that would be great
Would you like me to wemail you some pics of him.

One last question - do you keep your piggies and rabbits together as you say you have one of each

Thanks

keep in touch
Lainey

Hi Lainey,
thanks for the reply - and yes I'd love to see pics of your little one!

At the moment our piggie is with our rabbit - on advice that it was OK from our vet! - but we since learned that it was not a good idea. We are getting a new hutch & pen this weekend and hoping to move Tiger and a rescue piggie into this hutch. However Tiger is very close to the rabbit so we will have the pens alongside so that they don't miss each other..

hi again

how long are you online for - i can nip up and take some pics for you

We live in St helens Merseyside - but we usually do a home check just to ensure the piggie is going to a loving home - I'm sure the majority of rescuers on here do home checks!

Will just nip up and take some pics

Thanks! I'll be online for a little while yet...

What does a home check involve? You are welcome to come to our home and see where our bun and piggie live, we've read up as much as possible about looking after them and hope we are doing everything right. They are very precious to us and I hope they are with us for a long time to come! I did think long and hard before we got them, but we both think it was the best thing we ever did, they are such lovely little fellas!

Hi Katie - have just sent you pics and explanations via email
