I really want to bath all my piggies next month but wondered when the best time to do it?

I have read the sticky about bathing piggies and will study it over and over again before doing it so i make sure i get it right :)

Also how ofton should i do it? I dont think Ginger and Soot will need it that ofton as they are short hair (well soot is sort of short hair) but Baily and Oscar have lovely thick long hair?

Also should i leave it a bit longer for the boys as i only got them last weekend?

They all live out side as well if that makes a difference. x

You should do it once every 3 months, and i use small animal shampoo from the pet shop at a reasonable price about £2.00 something suitable for rabbits and guinea pigs. When you do wash them though since they live outside keep them indoor until they are dry because if you took them back outdoor they could catch a cold.

You should just put them in warm water not hot about an inch deep and have a jug with warm water make them wet ad then rub in the shampoo avioding eyes, ears, nose and there bum. But wash there fur on their belly too. You will need only a small amount of shampoo.

Then just make sure it is well rinsed off, they may try and jump out but just put them gently back in and rap them in a towel when your done and keep them warm and then when they are dry put them back outside.

Hope this helps:):) xx

Thank you, i will have to give it ago, if i start really early in the morning they should be dry by the time they go to bed. Should i let them dry by them selfs or use a hair dryer? x
