I've left my beautiful boys with a friend while I'm away. I know she will look after them brilliantly but how I miss them. I am going to Manchester tomorrow for a week. I haven't been back home for 20 years so I think its maybe time for a visit lol. Taking the kids to show them where I come from. We don't go till tomorrow and I keep going upstairs and expecting their little squeak, the guinea boys not the kids! The house is dead without them. I have to say though one of the cheeky boys chewed through the wire for my twig light. Thank god it wasn't plugged in. I was upstairs packing so I'm blaming my hubby. Obviously its not the boys fault. Hopefully once I am in Manchester and busy then I won't miss them as much but its sooo quiet. They really are part of the family. I think it was worse leaving them than leaving my son on his school trip because at least my son knew he was coming back the boys probably think I have abandoned them. Who would have thought that two furry fuzz balls could capture my heart.

BIG HUG

I know how you are feeling - I have just come back from a family visit on the continent.

Awww, how nice that you love them so much. The time will pass quickly and you will be reunited before you know it.

Think how happy they will be when you come home with loads of veg and cuddles for them!

Aw, I'm sure the boys will miss you too :)

Whereabouts in Manchester are you from? I grew up near Worsley, but live in Bolton now :)

I lived in Alkrington near Middleton. Bernard Manning lived there.

Know it quite well! I grew up on the other side of Middleton, in Slattocks! Not moved far, now in Rochdale! :))

I'm feeling your pain. We're off for a week in the morning too! Packing my babies off later on. Hope you have a fantastic time :)

I was without my boys for a month :)>>> It is horrible but you love them even more when reunited!

My mum said they were wheeking constantly and I got upset cos they never did that with me, they do now though being in the front room, I can't even walk past without hearing it! rolleyes

A wheek will soon pass. xx>>>

I'm originally from Oldham, currently living in Stretford :)

Weather is lovely here at the moment, hope it lasts for your trip!
