So I've been keeping a little secret.

About two days after loosing Squeak I was offered this little guy as he couldn't be looked after any longer. Within these two days I was noticing a huge difference in Bubble as he wasn't interested in food and just became really lonely. So when I was offered Piglet, who was also a lone piggie, I felt like it was just such strange timing to not try and introduce him and Bubble. So I decided too take him and give it a go.

Now he came from a good place with the correct size housing, correct food ect, so I wasn't really worried about health issues but I quaranteened him for two weeks anyway just too be safe. All was good.

So I then had them living next too eachother for a little bit. All good again.

Then came the introductions.. Again, went great. Neutral territory, hay and veggies. There was a tiny bit of bum sniffing, but that was all and within minutes they were eating together and having a good old chat :D

The boys are now living happily together and are getting along very well so far with absolutely no trouble. There's lots of piggie chatting going on in my bedroom now and lots of wheeking for food. Which is amazing too hear again!

It's tough gaining a piggie sooo soon after loosing one but I didn't want Piglet getting into the wrong hands and I wanted too make Bubble happy! So I feel like this was almost Squeaks way of telling me too look after Bubble and keep him happy. But of course I still miss Squeak greatly and would do anything too have him back!

So, Piglet says "Hi!" too everyone and looks forward to meeting everyone!
 
What a sweet new friend for Bubble! It sounds like to was meant to be.

It is an awkward period for us humans, as we take much longer to work through our grieving process. Piglet will build his own very different nest in your heart, but he doesn't take away anything from what you are feeling for Squeak or the fact that you are still missing him badly and will never really stop doing so.
 
Wonderful news! Piglet is gorgeous, it's lovely to see Bubble has found a new friend.
No piggy can replace Squeak though, in your heart, but at least Bubble is happy! I'll look forward to more pigtures of them together. xx

I know, us silly humans with our silly feeling right? Haha!

There's been times where I've sat and thought "was that the best thing to do? It's way too soon"

But I know in the end it will work out for the best in the end!

Bubble is in love! I think he's greatful for the company!
 
They look so cute together, congratulations.

Great that you quarantined too.
 
Omgosh.....how cute are they together! Squeak will always hold a special place in your heart Hun.....it's nice to see bubble soooo happy too x
 
Aww Piglet is gorgeous! I am so happy Squeak has a new friend. They are so cute together.

Oh I love him! I especially love the picture of them both standing up at the hay rack :) I'm so pleased for you.
 
Abbie, this is fantastic news for you and Bubble. Piglet is lovely :love: Great photo of him sitting in the food bowl lol

I am so pleased it has all worked out and I am sure Squeak is looking down at you from the Bridge and his pleased Bubble has found a new friend to be with.

Can't wait to hear more about him as they settle in.

I think Bubble is madly in love. He doesn't want too be away from Piglet for longer than a minute! Haha

We have had the occasional bit of rumblestutting from Piglet, he wants too be boss pig I think, haha! But Bubble is happy for that too happen, so there is no problem there!

I took a huge risk with taking a pig before trying to introduce them, incase it didn't work. But I'm extremely luckily they both have the personality which is making them work!

Piglet is happy too meet everyone!
 
Hi there, Piglet, Bubble and @Abbie! So glad Bubble is feeling a bit more like himself now. I'm really happy that Piglet found a new home with you and Bubble! They are both VERY handsome boys.
