Ic Diet

I tried feeding the ic diet but my piggies hated green, beans, celery and speing greens and my parents refused o buy all the different things and claimed that coriander, parsley and herbs were too expensive! :(
I might go back to the ic diet.

My guinea pigs didn't like green beans at first but I think it was because they weren't used to them . They love them now!

I buy the "living herbs" from my local supermarket as I find this is the best way to keep the herbs fresh

( if I had a herd- I'm sure it would be cheaper to buy from an Indian supermarket).

You could try growing some coriander and dill - maybe in a window box.

My girls like and have everything on the ic diet, didn't realise how good their diet was, BUT they also have little gem lettuce every day and occasionally baby tomatoes and apple peel , are these foods bad for them? They have unlimited meadow hay and burgess excel mint nuggets.

Piggies can have apple peel but lettuce has little food value so it is best very occasionally as a treat and iceberg lettuce is bad. Baby tomatoes are fine.
