Ice water ?

Is it okay to give piggies like melted ice water ? A put a bottle of water in the fridge let it melt a little and I've given some to the pigs the have there normal room temperature water in there cage too? Is it okay ?

I dont think its ideal to give them iced water in their water bottle as it would be so cold and a shock to the system, but if you freeze water in an old coke bottle and put the bottle in a sock these are great for placing in the cage for the piggies to lay against to keep cool.

I thought it may be, but i've put both in so they have the choice, they quite liked the cold water of my finger, but i may transfer it into another bottle for them to play with (:
