The treat balls are not very good for guinea pigs that haven't learned to play to get to their treats. This is a beginner's version you can easily make yourself. And it doesn't matter if they have a bite of it.
Just make sure you cut the holes big enough that the treats will fall out of it easily at the beginning. 20230219_205109.webp

I have used the small dog one (which is far better made than the plastic rabbit ones you can get) with both my piggies and rabbits.
All of my rabbits have always loved it.
The guinea pigs were a bit more hit and miss to be honest.
Ruby and Oreo loved it, but the rest were never really bothered. Eddi used to follow behind Oreo as she was aggressively pushing it around the cage and just hoover up the treats that she walked past while obsessing about the ball. :D

Oh very good thanks!

Hi, I have one for my piggies, but they do not like it much:) but I know a few that go absolutely feral over them. Also I agree with Vinnese, first do a roll with big holes, it is much better for the beggining. But I find a toilet roll with hay inside a much better enrichement, if your piggies won’t like the ball. It makes them eat more hay and they have to work for it a bit. But always have a big pile of hay with it where they can munch on it as much as they like without the work:)
