Ideal weight

Depends really. How heavy is yours? Do you think he is underweight?

Guinea, one of my boars is 9/10 months and weighs a little less than his 5 month old son, but that is mainly due to Guinea being more active than him.

One is 730g the other 688g...just worried their either over or under weight and not sure why one weighs slightly less...he's the one I always see eating!
 
Well Guinea is about 1,5lb - 700g-ish and he's 9/10 months!

Guinea has always been a small fella and likes to run around the flat like a loony!

Your two, sound quite ok within their weight, as long as they are eating then it's nothing to worry about. How much exercise do they get/do? That will also make a difference to their weight.
 
At the minute they spend all day in their run in the garden when the weather's good and they run around like nutters in the evening. When the weather's bad they have a run in the kitchen, which I'll continue during winter. I give them about an hour of this, plus they have a big cage.
 
Sounds quite fine then if you ask me. Not every pig is the same weight, shape or size so finding the ideal weight is not the same as anyone.

It's great that they are having so much exercise too!
