Ideas On What This Is

Just groomed my boy and this is what came off him. I was wondering it it is dry skin as he is mainly black. I don't think it is anything living and it is not red or pinkish if squashed so not dried blood. He is fine in himself and lives indoors on vetbed with his wife. Thank you.

I have a small pet grooming kit with a brush and a comb with different width teeth either side and a small hand bag brush.

Its probably just skin scales. If he isn't itching or has any bald patches or sore spots? If you are worried get your vet to take a look, they can examine under the microscope

He seems fine, I have ordered some shampoo from gorgeous guineas and will keep a close eye on him.
