Well, I'm looking for some volunteer work in (or around) Prenton. I;m twelve, love animals and see myself as a very responsible person. I have two piggies of my own and would love to do some work at a local rescue. Please contact me for more info!

so many people your age dont care and wouldn't be bothered to offer to help out, you must be a very good person! i hope someone can help you help them!

I think you have to be at least 14 to do vol work, not sure though.

I am sure that you will get alot of satisfaction from doing this and that someone running a rescue will be happy for you to help out.

Just looked it up yep it is 14 but if you are between 11 and 13 then you can do it with an adult. Good luck with it. There is the RSPCA in Wallasey, not sure if that is too far though and maybe that is one for the future for work experience.

If I can't find a local rescue close enough, I have already decided that my fallback is the Tam O' Shanter Farm. They let people from the age of 12 do volunteer work.

Seriously though, if there are any rescues nearby to me, please post. I'm looking forward to volunteer work, It will get me out of the house. I don't care about 'mess' seeing as I have a dog, cat and two piggies to clean out!

There is nothing like animal mess haha! I love it! I find it very calming to clean up! I think I need a farm! |)
