Cheapest IKEA hack ever. I asked the assistant fof ono of the display boxes, as they have readymade 'doors. Then I pinched a couple of pieces of cardboard from broken boxes.....a little bit of Gaffer tape and voila! A new house for Bobby and Bailey to go with their new IKEA bed. Very much a spoil the piggies day.

I love them too. My other three have one, and I thought it wasn't fair that all Bobby and Bailey's stuff was old boxes, so I thought I'd treat them. I got the idea for the beds from @flowerfairy
a friend of mine works in an Ikea store here in Rome and she says that almost all the customers buy that bed for their pets and not as a toy for children! cats, dogs, rabbits...

That pic of the cats on three levels reminded me a tale told me by my mother, a fact about my old Nan long long ago... during a night journey to Sicily into an oldfashioned train compartment with three beds (3 each side) like those ones in the pic. My old Nan had the seat for the bed at the third level and asked the boy at the first level if he would accept as a favour to exchange the seats, but he said no. My Nan, my mother and the other travellers went to sleep and in the early morning my Nan had to get up for going to the toilet and put her foot on the face of that boy... ahaha! she did not do that intentionally, but the boy screamt a lotLove the expression on the middle cat.
